All tracks are first take improvisations recorded in 1980-81. These are ideas that could have spawned full blown pieces but instead have laid dormant in the archive for 40 years. For some of the tracks, I have segued different improvisations together to form a longer piece. Due to the age and nature of the recordings there are tape drop outs and the occasional glitch, etc.

“Your Space Or Mine?” was originally improvised by Steve in 1980 as can be heard as track 39. Track 1 is the re-recording from 2007 which was done for legendary film director Damon Packard for use in his “SpaceDisco One” film along with other material by Steve but didn’t make the cut.

This would be a great soundtrack to the Voyager 1 space probe as it travels past enormous planets and stars towards....where? Track begins with a low, bass hum that builds into a a beautiful choir of sound and ends up as classic 70s 80s electronic journey..so sad it's only 1 track, although over 20 minutes...if you like Berlin-School this is a must have!.
